Channeling love letters from the Universe
Channeling love letters from the Universe
I am a Writer and an Astrologer.
I like to think I channel Erma Bombeck and Linda Goodman.
Two very different women, who shared the same gift of making you laugh at yourself, and everyone else who irritates you.
They described life so poetically and humorously, that I actually wanted to live it. If you know much about Astrology, you know that’s important for a Pisces.
I escaped into the world of their writing during adolescence and young motherhood so often that I randomly started guessing people’s zodiac signs, and writing my own short stories about things like,
"What kind of crackpot has just one, half-full, kitchen trash bag slumped over the curb on garbage day, when I'm dragging out TWO giant sized cans, so overstuffed with trash the lids won't close!?"
I cracked myself up, and I had a pretty impressive reputation for guessing people's zodiac signs!
In 2017, while studying Astrology with Astrologer and Psychotherapist, Debra Silverman, these two favorite pastimes of mine-- Astrology and humorous writing-- merged together when I began using this poetic licensing to write my assignments as humorous stories to articulate Astrological concepts.
An Astrology Poet was born.
My stories reflect the beautiful awareness that comes through Astrology which allows you to shed your untruths, and fully embrace your own, individual brand of beauty. . It allows you to see yourself without your spin, and without the mask you wear to "fit in".
This awareness cultivates self love, and a true acceptance of yourself... and everyone else who irritates you.
You stop being so hard on yourself, and begin aligning with your true direction and purpose.
Seriously, what could be more important than that?
It's exhausting holding up a mask, so throw it in the giant, overstuffed trash can filled with all the other untruths that you've been dragging around, and give yourself permission to laugh at yourself like a crackpot with one limp, half-full, kitchen trash bag slumped over the curb on garbage day!
It won't take you long to find yourself in my stories,
or anyone else who irritates you.
Erma Bombeck always said,
"If you can laugh at it, you can live with it."
Linda Goodman wrote,
“For those who believe... expect miracles.”
"I BELIEVE!" said the Pisces,
I am the Poet.
